       Additional Lake News:

To the residents of Harbor Lights Lake Association:

Please be aware there have been reports of swimmers itch again this year in the lake. Remember that I am no expert, but from everything I have read the best way to prevent an outbreak is to towel off right after coming out of the water.

As far as I know there is no way to treat the lake.

Also, there is an algae bloom on the lake and the Lake and Fish Committee is working on the problem. Last year we had Lake and Pond Solutions spray the algae with very good results. We will be contacting them again for their advice.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT THE GROWTH OF ALGAE IS TO KEEP ORGANIC MATTER OUT OF THE LAKE. SUCH THINGS AS GRASS CLIPPINGS, MULCH NEXT TO THE LAKE WITHOUT A BARRIER, ETC.

Hope everyone has a great summer now that the heat is turned on.

The Harbor Lights Development is a neighborhood of approximately 140 families located in Suamico, WI.  The quiet village is located about 10 miles north of the city of Green Bay and is situated close to the Bay of Green Bay a hamlet off of Lake Michigan.

The pictures that you will see on this website were all taken in and around the neighborhood which, as you can see, includes a tremendous lake for all sorts of leisure activities.
